Safety Philosophy

At OUOZZZ, infant and toddler safety is always our top priority. Our goal is to provide safe toys for your baby. Our product design and production processes strictly adhere to international and domestic safety standards, ensuring that every detail is carefully considered and rigorously tested.

Safety Measures

(I) Design Stage
High-Standard Design: Our design team strictly adheres to the US Toy Safety Standard (ASTM F963) and the EU Toy Safety Standard (EN 71) to ensure product safety from the very beginning. We use non-toxic and harmless materials and avoid small parts and sharp edges to ensure that toys pose no risk to children during use.

Developmentally Appropriate: We design toys suitable for different age groups based on the growth and development characteristics of infants and toddlers, helping them develop hand-eye coordination, cognitive skills, and creativity through play.

(II) Testing Phase
Comprehensive Testing: All OUOZZZ toys undergo rigorous testing by independent third-party laboratories before production. These tests include physical performance testing (such as tensile and torque testing), chemical testing (such as the content of hazardous substances such as lead and phthalates), and flammability testing to ensure they meet or exceed the requirements of the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and the EU CE certification.
Strict Screening: If a toy fails testing, we immediately halt production and redesign the product until it passes all safety tests.

(III) Production Phase
Strict Monitoring: During the production process, we have established multiple safety monitoring mechanisms to ensure that safety standards are met at every stage. For example, all toys are inspected by metal detectors to ensure that there are no metal fragments inside. Small components such as plastic eyes are secured using ultrasonic welding to prevent them from falling out. Stuffing is sewn into the inner bag to prevent it from falling out even if the seams break.
Quality Control: Continuous inspections during and after production are a key component of our safety program. We not only check the safety of the toys, but also conduct rigorous reviews of quality control, design consistency, labeling accuracy, and packaging integrity.

(IV) Certification Stage
CPC Certification: Our products are CPC-certified and comply with the requirements of the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA). CPC certification covers multiple testing criteria, including total lead and phthalate content, as well as the mechanical and physical properties of the toy.
CE Certification: Our products also meet EU CE certification standards, covering physical and chemical safety. CE certification requires products to undergo rigorous safety assessments, including structural stability and hazardous substance restrictions.

EN71-1:2014 + A1:2018, meeting the requirements of the European Toy Safety Standard Part 1.
EN71-2:2011 + A1:2014, meeting the requirements of the European Toy Safety Standard Part 2.

ASTM F963-16/17, meeting the requirements of the U.S. Toy Safety Standard.
UKCA, meeting the requirements of the UK Toy Safety Standard.

Special Safety Instructions for Infants and Children

No Hazardous Substances: Our toys do not contain any materials containing harmful substances such as lead, phthalates, and bisphenol A (BPA), ensuring your baby's safety.
No Small Parts: All toys are free of small parts to prevent accidental swallowing and choking.
No Sharp Edges: The toys have a smooth surface with no sharp edges or corners to prevent injuries during play.
No Flammable Materials: Toy materials have been rigorously tested to ensure they contain no flammable ingredients and meet flammability standards.

Usage and Care Recommendations

Adult Supervision: Although our toys undergo rigorous safety testing, adult supervision is still recommended for your child's safety.
Regular Inspection: Before each use, inspect the toy for damage or loose parts. If you notice any abnormalities, stop use immediately and contact our customer service.
Cleaning and Maintenance: We recommend regularly cleaning the toy with a mild detergent to keep it clean and hygienic.
